Discussion

I think this technique is really going to very helpful in making the 3D cinematic trailers, and below I am discussing why.?

1. Cheap Cost :- If the comic is based on superheroes or people with superpowers (most of them are) then its inevitable it have fight scenes of destructive levels. Now, if we film these shots with special effects it is going to cost a lot more than the clips made with 3D models. There are thousands of 3D modelers out there who are ready to work for free. In this way, we are going to save a lot of money.

2. Freedom with Camera Angles:-  Freedom of camera movement and camera angles is better with 3D models because with them your desired angle is just some clicks away, while in shots with special effects with them we don't get much freedom with the way the cameras move. Filming the trailers of these comics will be far better than the trailers with special effects.

3. Time-Saving:- While special effects shots have some unique sort of realism to them, setting them up can be a really hard task. It takes a lot of time to create the set for actors to perform and get a ready to go shot. But in 3D models trailer, it could be replaced by a really fast process of animation. These 3D models are also reusable for a lifetime, unlike actors who take a lot of fees to return to sets.

4. Safety:- While the special effects have a realism to them they are not so good at the safety side of things for example stunts double can get hurt performing stunts like jumping from high grounds and breaking the glass, just like our Protagonist V did in the film, This kind of risks are nearly zero with the 3D models as a person is literally sitting in front of a screen and doing all sorts of awesome stuff with the models.

5. Imagination Freedom:- While drama films, of course, look good with real people in them, movies like The transformers are impossible to film with the real people in costumes. To make the director's imagination to come true, it is really important to work with 3D models. Just imagine the trailer of Transformers film with only real people in costumes with no special effects. I am very sure only very few people will sit and watch that idea.

6. Age Factor:- While it is true that some actors really age well, it is also true that some of them are not and when you are making the trailer of these comics hiring them will make things more expensive and if it is being filmed after so many years after the actors will definitely will not look the same.

Resource Saving:- Filming a trailer for comics with 3D models will also be resource-saving as not a lot of fuel will be used to carry those big movie set apparatus plus it only takes some electricity to sit on a computer and do your magic on a 3D movie trailer. It is far more energy saver also because whenever a 3D animator/modeler thinks he's tired he can go take rest anytime he wants.
