CRITICAL REVIEW - FundamentalSurgery

I chose to write on fundamental surgery because it's not only just fun, it can be used to save a lot of lives in the future and that is what makes it the ultimate combination of fun, learning, and heroics. As the new age of technology is approaching and we are relying more and more on the technology, we are also using it where it really matters and this is one of those fields. If we can use the ARVR technology to save lives, I see no better good than this. So here in this critical review, I am going to discuss about the use of ARVR technologies in the medical field.

1. Less use of dead bodies:-

As important as they are in giving students the feel of the real organs I find using dead bodies a brutal and unreasonable thing to do because it does not matter if it is dead. The body was a person at one time and we should respect his / her body integrity by maintaining it. But it's just my opinion and not a fact and I am sure the surgeons got a more philosophical argument to counter this. Anyways, the use of ARVR bodies decreases the need for real bodies to students to learn on and that is a very big achievement of science in my opinion. The organs in these apps are just in proportion to the real size of organs so that helps students to learn better. It also helps students who have a phobia of dead bodies.

2. More organs available for donation:-

As the number of bodies used in practicals for medical students decreases, there will be a greater number of organs available for the people in need. If we donate our organs as we die at a good rate, we can help a lot of people in need of those organs by saving real bodies because of the use of virtual bodies for the students. As people are suffering more and more with the organ donor deficiency and some are dying because of the lack of donated organs, this technology can be a real game-changer. This way the needy will get help sooner and more lives can be saved so it is a win-win for doctors ultimately.

3. Unlimited re-usability:-

One of the great advantages these kinds of software offer is that you can use any organ or body model unlimited times. This gives learning biology a whole new edge, an edge that is never seen before. Because of the reusability feature, the students can perform the same operation again and again to get a better understanding of the body. This understanding can later be used in real operation situations to save the life of a person and that in my opinion is the biggest achieven]ment of today's scientist.

This technology without a doubt brings a lot to the table and is able to bring some changes whose level is unprecedented. It obviously will solve a lot of problems in the future and will definitely help mankind to reach new heights. The use of technology will also save a lot of money for the organizations which then can be used for different purposes and help people in other ways. Overall I would say there is not a single bad thing about this tech and I will watch it in the future with great interest to see its direction of advancements. But every coin have two sides and I am sure there can be bad faces of this technology but there are none that we can see at the moment, so we have to make sure that techs like this are only being used for something good and not something that is murky.
